Great location but needs fixing
We stayed for 2 nights and the spot was awesome, right across from Sefton Park. The staff were really nice and breakfast was good, but honestly, the room was a letdown with hazard tape and a leaking towel rack. they asked for a £25 deposit which felt weird given the room condition. Hope they sort it out!

location was perfect for what i needed, room was clean n comfy. The tea/coffee facilities were handy for my solo stay. loved the chilled vibes and the staff were friendly too. it’s pretty near lark lane for eatin out.
only issue was the toilet seat that didn't fit right n shower door didn’t close properly. also, could hear noise from the party below us which was a bit annoying.

Family with children will enjoy it
We had a friendly lady named Julie at breakfast who was just wonderful, really made the kids feel special. the bar had a nice selection of beers on tap and lots of interesting photos around the place that caught the kids’ eyes.
It was a bit pricey but honestly, not too bad for what we got.

missingWrote a review on 27 Augoutdoor areahelpful staffcurtain damagepipe issue
I stayed here recently for a night with my family and we found it to be in a good spot. There was a decent bar with an outdoor area where we enjoyed a few drinks. The staff were nice and offered us a fan when it got hot. This made our stay comfortable, so we might return again.
Unfortunately, there was a problem with a rip in the curtain and an exposed pipe in the bathroom. The TV was small, and the smell of bleach was bothersome.

missingWrote a review on 02 Augpark viewgreat locationsewage smell
The room offered a breathtaking view of the park that made mornings delightful. Close proximity to the park provided a great spot for relaxation and jogging.
Staying in room 204 started off well with its spaciousness and brightness, but the sewage smell was unbearable, making it impossible to stay there. After the room change to 201, noise from the motorway was constant and the room felt cramped, definitely not the 204 sq ft promised. I also struggled with the layout. having the sink in the bedroom was awkward and left little privacy due to the staircase visibility. the shower tray had leakage issues, while the mattress was quite thin—well below hotel standards. With only a few elderly hangers provided and damaged walls, it felt like maintenance had been neglected. Lastly, breakfast ended too early on weekdays, and a lack of information at check-in led to us missing the meal entirely.

Charming Historic Stay with Slight Drawbacks
I recently stayed in this lovely hotel, which is rich in history and character, as it was once the family home of Stuart Sutcliffe. The decor celebrating Beatles memorabilia added a delightful touch, and the breakfast overlooking Sefton Park was a real highlight with its warm, friendly service. One drawback was the noise from neighboring rooms. it was a bit distracting during the night.
